Making some dough

I'm trying to think of a way to make money, fast and easy. Any suggestions? lol I realize that if I could come up with something, it'd probably make me rich. I'm thinking most things have been tried and there really isn't much out there to make big bucks. I'm beginning to do surveys again, just to make ends meet. Right now, they aren't and I'm just falling further behind. UGH! Oh well, I know its temporary and that God's timing is perfect...my patience however isn't so strong.

Burning the candle at both ends

I'm exhausted. I think it's getting to me... the drive that is. I'm praying about it a lot. I drive 170+ miles per day, every day to get to work and back.

Hayrides with friends

I love hayrides and tonight we enjoyed a cool and crisp hayride down a dirt road and around. The wagon was full of amazing people that I have met over the past 2 1/2 years. Some of my closest friends and (church) family were there too. The way we all connect on such an intimate level is just awesome. It's God planting seeds in all of us, and we can just feel His power! We also had great desserts and service afterwards. What a fulfilling night!

I'm not a HUGE fan of Oprah, although I think she has done lots of great things for people, I think she has lost touch with the real struggles of real people. I do LOVE this video however and love her reaction to it! Watch and ENJOY! Today is going to be a good day!

Monday holidays

I work for the government. That is a sentence that says so much. An advantage to working for the government is that I get to observe national holidays with a day off work. (Yay!) However...I also work for The United States Postal Service. What many people probably do not know is that even though the mail carriers don't deliver the mail, the mail is still transported to appropriate offices for the next working day. This means that now instead of having just Sunday and Mondays mail, we also have Tuesdays mail to try and deliver on Tuesday. It makes for a VERY heavy day! Well, as they say, I guess thats why we make the big bucks...(still never enough, ya know?). Anyhow, time to recoup from the day and go take a hot shower :).

House

I have difficulty when it comes to TV shows, of which one to watch. I don't watch a lot of TV because I'm busy with kids, the house, work and life in general so when I do, I like to watch the one that I'll enjoy the most. House comes to mind when I think of a show that you have to pay attention to for the whole show. It is very intriguing, especially if you enjoy medical shows. It can be very sarcastic too, which hits people on the humor level. It's a great program but if you can only catch part of it, you'll be lost. Which brings me to say, I've got to run because House is on right now!

First, I want to welcome everybody who decided to visit our blog! I am mom, my oldest daughter is Nicole, 17, my next daughter is Marie, 11, My oldest son is Rich, 10 and my youngest is Lee, 9. (Names are changed for protection) Yes, our lives are chaotic but I try to keep everything organized (which doesn't always happen!).
